Description: Santee Impulse is a red leopard colt by A Stars Journey AQHA by World Champion A Sudden Star by A Sudden Impulse. The dam of A Stars Journey is by St Thermo Doc; the grandam is by Investors Choice by The Investor and the greatgrandam is Mac's Silver Spike AQHA. I bought A Stars Journey primarily for the genetic strength that he has through his dam. He is a double bred The Investor through his sire and dam, but Mac's Silver Spike was a terrific sire of western pleasure horses. The movement that he sired is the movement that is desired today. I have never seen a stallion that was as a strong breeder of movement as Mac's Silver Spike. The dam of Santee Impulse is Santee Sunset, an International Champion. Her dam Santee Baby Grand was an International Champion and the Appaloosa grandam was Santee Sunset ApHC who qualified for the ApHC World Championship Show in five performance events. Santee Impulse is a beautiful mover and strongly bred to reproduce the movement.
